| Bio: | Eventually (as in, both further in time and upon completion) this journal will hold a fantasy novel called Fortune Favors the Bold, the title of which was kidnapped from Virgil. It will be completely public, and available under a Creative Commons License, as soon as I can figure out which one will be best suited for what I want to do with the novel. I will probably begin it in November, but I may not keep to the NaNoWriMo pace, and it probably won't be finished in a month, either. It'll be posted as I write it, so in essence it'll be a serial. I'm doing this because I want to. What will it be about? A comic way of life, where "comic" does not mean funny, but "dedicated to survival and life going on"- more like a comedy drama, in other words. The first post in the journal will explain it in rather compressed detail, but these elements are present: *a wandering tribe cursed to travel every road in their world. *brown-skinned people, in at least two different cultures. *a killing that got around a taboo about murder. *worship of parthenogenesis, or rather goddesses who practice it. *lesbian relationships, and heterosexual ones, and sibling ones. *snakes, oxen, and donkeys. (No horses, though). *brothers who live in boxes under the bed. I realize this sounds inchoate right now. I hope it will coalesce.
